My name is Nikki and I am the Co-Chair of this 2022-2023 Unionville Youth Council Executive Team. I really enjoy volunteering and making new friends! In my free time, I am an avid romance reader and enjoy playing Genshin Impact. I decided to join the council because a friend introduced it to me. I loved how friendly everyone was and that motivated me to participate in a lot of the events. I have made many memorable moments and friends throughout my time here. I hope to see our council continue to grow and prosper in the future!

Aaliyah SULEMAN
CO-CHAIR
Hello! My name is Aaliyah, I am in grade 12, and I am the Co-Chair of the UYC this year! A fun fact about me is that I absolutely love to cook (I think I’m pretty good at it, minus the few times I almost burnt the house down). I also really enjoy playing soccer, spending time with my friends, and watching greys anatomy. I joined the council when I was in grade 8 because I wanted to branch out and make new friends in the community. Being on the council has helped me build my confidence and has allowed me to give back to the community that has given so much to me! I am so excited for all that we have in store for the upcoming year!

Hello! My name is Kathryn and I am the 2022-2023 Vice Co-Chair for the UYC team! A little bit about me is that I live for comedy tv-shows and spend most of my time volunteering, curating the perfect Spotify playlists, and working to supply my need for bubble tea! A while ago, my friend introduced me to the council and being a part of UYC has really been the best way to make new friends, find new interests, and support my community. From the start, I felt so welcomed being surrounded by the most caring and genuine people I've ever met and I truly hope that more people are able to experience the same feeling I had at UYC!

Hey! I am Aaron, and I am one of the few Co-Chairs for the 2022-2023 UYC! Currently, I am a grade 11 student who loves to play basketball and explore the outdoors! A couple fun facts about me is that I love to listen to music and I am a very energetic person. Wherever I go, I always have my earbuds and a playlist to match how I feel. Back in 2021, I was introduced to this council through my younger sister who was already a member. Since then, I have been involved with the council as much as I can for a new experience, and for me to try new things. The council is a place for you to find yourself, and help make the community better. I hope to make a big difference in the upcoming UYC year, and I am thrilled to meet everyone in the council!

Hi there! My name is Susan, the Secretary of the Unionville Youth Council Executive team 2022-2023. I enjoy meeting new people and doing math problems. In the meantime, I like to travel and try new food. I joined this council at the start of the year in hope to have fun. During the council last year, I have joined a lot of events, including the master pantry and the leadership conference.

Hi, I am Aaron Chung, and I am proud to be the Publicity Chair for the Unionville Youth Council! I am a grade 12 student who enjoys learning about geography, maths, and chemistry. I also really enjoy spending time with my friends, as well as doing sports and painting. I joined this council in grade 9 in order to meet new people, experience new things, and build new relationships, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Being a member of the council has allowed me to make a difference in the community and branch out beyond my friend group. I am excited to see all the new faces for next year!
