Hey! My name is Rachel and I’m currently in grade 12 at Unionville High School. I am one of this year's Co-Chairs of the Unionville Youth Council Executive Team. Some things about me are that I love to read, crochet, and listen to a wide variety of music. A while back, a family member introduced me to UYC and encouraged me to join. Since then, I have been able to come out of my shell and meet so many amazing people! It has also given me many opportunities to give back to the community and gain great experiences. I’m looking forward to seeing what this year has in store!

Community Program Supervisor
Don Roe
I am Don Roe, Community Program Supervisor for North area of City of Markham.
I have been Supervisor of Unionville Youth Council for over 20 years. Starting with 4 members one year and growing to 60 another years. It is the best part of my work getting to work with youth our leaders of tomorrow. It is such a blessing to work with councils each year as we give back to our community and making a difference.
I am so proud of all of my council members over the years to watch them grow into leaders and to see them giving back. It is also awesome to have them keep in touch by email or dropping into the office to say hello.
I am very excited to work with the executive of 2024 – 2025 and to be part of the great program they have planned this year.
