Ananya Senthil
Hi! My name is Ananya, and I am the Co-Chair of the Unionville Youth Council this year. I am a grade 11 student at Markville Secondary School who enjoys listening to music, playing the violin, creating art, and running. I joined the council a few years ago to get more involved in my community and meet new people. I’m so grateful for all the friends I’ve made and the many experiences I’ve gained through our events, and I’m very excited to work with everyone this year!

Aaron Chen
Hey guys, I'm Aaron Chen and I am thrilled to be serving as the Co-Chair for UYC in the 2023-2024 season. Currently, I am a grade 12 student at Bill Crothers Secondary School, and I can't wait to guide you all through an incredible journey in the upcoming months. I have a passion for various sports, whether it's participating in them or watching them, and I also enjoy immersing myself in the world of music. When I first became a part of the council some time ago, I immediately aspired to help others discover their own sense of belonging as well. I'm eagerly looking forward to the positive impacts we can make within the community this year!

Rosemary Till
Hey! My name is Rosemary Till, but my friends call me Rosie for short, and I am the 2023-2024 Vice Co-Chair for the Unionville Youth Council. I am in Grade 11 and I go to Saint Augustine Catholic High School. When I am not volunteering or hanging out with my friends, I am running in nature, playing chess, walking my dog, or listening to the Beatles. I am looking forward to another great year with UYC!

Hi active youth fellows! I am Shuxian Ho, grade 11 student and your vice president of the council this year. I am mainly in charge of organizing meeting activities and various council events. Looking forward to meet you in the council!

Rachel Gow
Hello! My name is Rachel and I’m in grade 11 at Unionville High School. I am this year's Secretary of the Unionville Youth Council Executive Team. Some things about me are that I love to read, create art, and listen to a wide variety of music. A while back, a family member introduced me to UYC and encouraged me to join. By being a part of the council, I have been able to come out of my shell and meet a lot of amazing people! It has also given me many opportunities to give back to the community and gain great experiences. I can’t wait to see what this year will bring!
Publicity Chair
Justin Lee
Hi everyone! I'm Justin Lee and I'm the Publicity Chair for UYC this year. I'm in Grade 9 at St. Augustine Catholic High School. I play competitive hockey for the Markham Waxers, enjoy socializing with friends and love working with technology. I'm excited to take an active role in the council to promote UYC and all the community activities that we do. I can't wait to talk to everyone while participating in the fun events and initiatives this year.
